I have been keeping my unemployed ass pretty busy becoming quite the domestic diva.  Alright… attempting to be quite the domestic diva.

The last couple of weeks have been interesting.  I may or may not have…

drank so much I pissed the bed with ARMANI in it

almost burned the house down while cooking Fillet Mignon in a frying pan

flopped cooking corned beef in a fucking crockpot

a puppy who finally has learned PAW!

googled how to make grilled cheese

took 4 pregnancy tests (no, im not pregnant PHEW!)

bought Boom Ball off of Amazon.com and lost the balls it came with in less than 2 days

played Guitar Hero for my FIRST time ever and sucked

a boyfriend who really really wants a goped

went gokarting in a skirt

totally been slacking with going to the place that keeps me from turning into an oompah loompah

tanned in WEEKS because of this

spent many many hours working hard on my farm… on facebook

bought adorable dixie cups

So as you can see I may or may not have been pretty busy lately.  You be the judge!

Is it FLOW RIDA or FLOW RIDER?

I have been all over the place as of late.  I had high expectations for myself that I felt would start the moment my plane landed at Ohare from my fanfuckingtastic trip to Vegas.  I had plans to catch up on my reader, add the numerous awesome people I had met to my reader, get a job, paint the garage, paint my bedroom, buy new furniture, rekindle friendships with a couple of friends… Alright, I am going to stop now because I haven’t really accomplished much of anything.  My life has been up in the air.  Perhaps this is why I did not want to leave Vegas and felt that we had a bond.  Vegas is pretty much “up in the air”.  We got along well.

Reality Shmality.  Who needs it?  Perhaps I need it.

I will be held responsible for my living expenses and bills before the end of the summer.   Unlike past plans I had which entailed leaving the nest, the nest will be leaving me.  It’s a confusing little situation but my Mom, Stepdad, 9 yo Brother, and 15 yo Sister are moving and leaving me in charge of myself and bills such as electric, gas, and cable.  The nerve huh?

Say it, “huh?”

Ya, I don’t expect you to get it right now because I told you a blip of the story.  I can’t be bothered getting into the deets as they are dull and boring.  All you have to know is I will be sharing this here house with my Uncles, one being drunk and the other disabled.

Now that we all understand my living situation maybe next entry will be dedicated to the prospect I mentioned in my previous post.

I bought an iron last night. In particular this iron. I told my Mom she was more than welcome to borrow my new fancy iron to iron my clothes while I am still living at home.  My fingers are crossed that she takes me up on the offer.

I also bought a shower curtain.  In particular this shower curtain with matching hangabidgits?
  
 
 
I will be moving before year-end.  Scary?  Yes. Is it time?  Yes.  I figured I should begin blogging about the move to add a little more anticipation on my end.  To be honest.. I’m afraid I will fail.
 
A little bit about the pad I do not have!
 
My kitchen will have a subtle European coffee theme.  I have a simple dark wood table with matching wine tower.  I have everything from measuring cups to a wine cooler and everything in between. I’m talking EVERYTHING.  I am prepared to be a modern Martha Stewart and will have the ability to entertain groups of ten for red wine, margaritas, white wine, mojitos, martinis, or micro-brewed beer.
 
My bathroom will be pink and brown.  I figured it will be my “fun” room. Doesn’t that sound naughty? I bought the accessories off of Etsy a while back. I am still deciding on either all brown towels, all pink towels, a mixture of brown and pink.  Thoughts?
 
My bedroom will have an oriental theme.  I have bought luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets and a beautiful red and gold tapestry comforter set.  I am still looking for an affordable bedroom set as I have a new mattress but am looking for a modern sleek bedroom set which includes a bed frame, dresser and mirror and nightstand. I am unsure about my need for an armoire.  Thoughts?
 
My living room is still up in the air.  I have tons of cute things I have picked up to make it feel “homie” but am looking for a sectional sofa/chaise and some affordable tables.  In the perfect world I would like a framed Vogue poster hanging above my neutral colored couch and some simple modern wood tables.  I’m thinking contemporary.
 
In conclusion, I am all set and only in the market for a bedroom set and living room set.

Laptop
Digi Camera
Wii
Wii Fit
 
I can cross the digi camera off of my list seeing I purchased this pink number and case over the weekend from Circuit City because Best Buy’s customer service was HORRENDOUS:
 
 
 

Moving tips?  What did you need to run out and purchase realizing you hadn’t already purchased once you moved out?  I like to be prepared people!
